Springs of Power Duology Book 2 – The Life Binders

After successfully defeating Zelroth and the Broken Skulls’ plan for world dominance, High Clan Chief Dreydak, his mate Firfeldre, and Cindrafel, his most powerful mage, desperately seek to rediscover the keys to unlock the Springs of Power, the one element that will ensure lasting peace for the people of The Burning Flats.
The Elemental Elves Trilogy
Book 1 – Forbidden Love
Status Update 03/31/2024: (2nd draft in progress XXXX 25% The first draft was completed in November during NaNoWriMo 2023, but it’s a really rough draft. I’m currently editing it.
Book One is tentatively titled “Forbidden Love.” It’s a story about a young Elf Hunter, Xanth, and his desire to bond with the love of his life, Vanya, an Elf with healing abilities. The only problem is that they are both from different tribes and are forbidden to bond and have children.
The two meet as children, forming a lifelong bond that starts as friends and blossoms into love and romance. Vanya’s father and Xanth’s grandfather intend never to see them bond. They and the rest of the Elders enforce their people’s ancient laws and customs, and to protect the magic that binds all life on their planet, they are forbidden to be together. The ancient customs do not allow the mixing of bloodlines because it would also combine their magic essences with a potentially catastrophic effect.
Magic is the basis of all life in their world. Each tribe has an affinity to a form of elemental magic powers. Bonding and having offspring within the same tribe ensures the power and stability of each elemental magic affinity remains everlasting. Mixing of the elemental magical essence, however, is forbidden.
These old customs have been passed down from generation to generation. Legend says the danger of intertribal offspring would mean the world’s end, slowing, diluting, and diminishing the magic that binds and sustains all life and out. There has never been inter-tribe marriage or offspring, and no one, including the Elders, knows the actual consequences of mixing elf blood and magic affinities.
Book 2 – Boundless Love
Status Update 03/31/2024: (WIP Outling XXXX 0% ) The novel is currently in the outlining phase. The story premise statement is done, but it needs to go through the full outline process.
High-Level Story premise statement: What happens with Xanth and Vanya after they break all customs? Eleven Blood is mixed, including their magic essence. The elemental magic binding the world has been diluted. But what changes? What happens to the world? What happens to their children? Are the bounds of Xanth and Vanya’s love big enough to save their family and their growing tribe from catastrophic consequences?
Book 3 – Everlasting Love
Status Update 12/31/2023: In concept phase.
The tentative concept is as follows;
Xanth and Vanya are now Elders of their own tribe and are joined by others who also broke tradition in Book 2. What has happened to the elemental magic that binds the world? Will the magic deplete into nothingness, taking all life with it? Or is love itself magic enough to keep the people and the world safe? Is everlasting love enough to survive?

Good Haunting – Paranormal Romance
Status Update 03/31/2024 (WIP, XXXX ~50% first draft completed stage)
This story is about love having no bounds in the living world or the in-between world of the living and the dead. There will be conflict and intrigue as Shane Blackstone and Nikki Roberts discover the origin of the entity haunting Shane’s house, Nadia Yukolev. Will they unlock the secrets of the ghostly presence haunting Shane? What can Shane and Niki do to overcome the obstacles blocking poor Nadia’s spirit from escaping the house she’s been trapped in for over 20 years? Will Nadia complete her transcendence to the ever-after? And what does Shane’s father, Tommy Blackstone, have to do with all of this?
Choice and Consequence – Supernatural
Status Update 03/31/2024: (WIP, XXXX ~40% first draft completed stage)
Jack Conner is a middle-aged man, married with two children and a nice house in a rural town in upstate New York. If you didn’t know Jack and observed his life from agar, Jack has it made. He has everything life offers: a good job, a great wife, and two wonderful children in Middle School. His home and life represent the American dream, complete with the white-picket fence, great family, and even a playful golden retriever. All of this is supported by a great-paying job, which will eventually afford him a simple, easy retirement. Yet he describes himself as miserable.
Jack really doesn’t know what he wants. He doesn’t know what will really make him happy. One day, he meets a man named Luke. Luke is everything Jack wishes he could be if he made different choices. Except, by no means is Jack’s chance meeting with Luke a coincidence. Luke, who is known by others as Lucifer, is the actual bonafide Devil himself. And he’s got his eyes set on Jack’s soul. A man must be careful when he wishes and prays for the wrong things, and as Jack finds out, Lucifer will make him an offer for his soul that he can’t refuse.
After Lucifer wraps Jack around his finger with temptation and encourages him that what he has is not what he really wants, a deal is thrown down on the table. Jack is given three chances to choose the different lives he’s been imagining. Lucifer ensures him that the people he loves and knows now will not be harmed, but Jack can exist in three other alternate realities of his choosing—all for the hefty price of Jack’s soul.

Status Update 07/24/2024: WIP: XXXX 25% In the first draft phase
This is a series of short flash fiction episodes about a psychotic waitress named Tara. Something has caused her a lifetime of mental anguish and distress, leading her down the path of a psychotic serial killer. Each submission will be no more than 1000 words and detail an event in her life. Currently, the story starts off with episodes where she is already in a psychotic state.
